Just curious...did the father escape from Cuba? I didn't think Cubans were "free" to leave until sometime in 2012, and even then it was very expensive--a Cuban passport cost the equivalent of approximately 5-months pay for the average non-professional Cuban. Wishing them great success.

I was thinking they’ve been here 7 years and don’t speak English to do a simple interview.

What does everyone think a REAL Cuban sandwich is?
It"s Like Porn! you will know its a "real" Cuban when you eat it. "It is the unchallenged champion of ham and cheese sandwiches." The Pork will be roasted and have a hint of Moho (citrus and garlic) , the bread will be light moist and Pressed to a crunchy shell. the mustard and pickle will not be as hot as the rest of the sandwich. This Article {Where I stole the Bi line above), does Justice describing the essentials

First generation can be pretty broken and difficult English and when the Son is there and fluent he will step in. I'm surprised the PCO didn't have a Spanish speaking reporter?

For this area, it was a decent Cuban. Properly made, but I was surprised by the pulled pork. Still very tasty. There is a deluxe version which I will try next visit.
