Far East Asian Market

Not very big, but stuffed to the rafters with Asian groceries, with a strong Thai influence.

Good selection of fresh veggies at great prices. The meats are fresh, good portions, and priced well.

Be prepared for the typical Asian grocery store smell of squid, octopus, and cabbage.

Is this the one next to Taco bell?
They used to have fantastic prices on Produce but have ramped up the price of the bell peppers to nearly twice the price and the quality is not any better..
the great price of red peppers was what made us go regularly and since they have jacked them up to match or exceed walmart or Publix, It turned me off so much that instead of the usual 80-100 bucks I only spent 20 Sunday..

However there are several things that we get there that we can't get local , like fried garlic and fried red onions Oyster sauce Nappa Cabbage ......................

I buy alot of my produce at ALDI's in St. Augustine. Prices are good and quality is better. I also go to the place next to Denny's. Not sure of the name.

Oh yeah , that place next to Denny's (Which was a Shoney's a long time ago and later a Chinese restaurant ) is a branch of the far east market i believe.

I wouldn't know about bell pepper pricing since they cause cancer and I stay away from them.

The asparagus, however, was the thin baby variety at $1.39 for a 1 lb. bunch.

I was impressed with their offerings of goat, chicken feet, and ox ears.

Hadn't been to an Aldi in years, but we stopped today.

Very impressed with their produce and grocery selections.

Where else can you get a 8-pack of hamburger buns for 25 cents?
