The top Army basically insinuates trump is a liar...which of course anyone, who hasn’t spent the past 6 years locked away in a cave with no access to anything going on in the world, well knows.

Well the whole Congress has been on vacation for a month and just got back.
Yes, but McConnell refused to even give a new stimulus package a second thought and shut down the Senate while the House and trump’s flunky was still negotiating...

Very good and important question... from Walter Shaub, former Director of @OfficeGovEthics (The most ignored and orphaned office beginning on Jan 20, 2017.)

"How can a nation be so good at caring about 3,000 lives that ended 19 years ago and so bad at caring about 200,000 lives that ended this year? One was caused by the attack of an enemy who swore he’d kill us; the other was caused by the lie of a leader who swore he’d protect us."

Don't know why John Fogerty finds it confounding...trump really is just that f'king stupid.

John Fogerty: 'Confounding' that Trump campaign played 'Fortunate Son' at rally
BY MORGAN GSTALTER - 09/12/20 09:04 AM EDT

Rock icon John Fogerty on Friday said it was “confounding” that President Trump's campaign would use his hit song “Fortunate Son” at a rally given the song’s blunt criticisms about class privilege during the Vietnam War.

The former Creedence Clearwater Revival frontman made a video explaining his experience writing the song after the Trump campaign played the hit while the president walked off Air Force One ahead of his rally in Freeland, Mich., on Thursday.

“I wrote the song back in 1969 at the height of the Vietnam War," Fogerty said in a video. “By the time I wrote the song, I had already been drafted and had served in the military. And I’ve been a livelong supporter of our guys and gals in the military, probably because of that experience.”

Fogerty said he wrote the song, in part, because he was “upset” about how rich people with privilege and money could avoid the draft.

“I found that very upsetting that such a thing could occur and that’s why I wrote ‘Fortunate Son,’” he said. "That was the inspiration for the song."

He noted the opening lyrics of the song read: “Some folks are born, made to wave the flag / Ooh, their red, white and blue / And when the band plays ‘Hail to the Chief’ / Ooh, they point the cannon at you.”

Fogerty said that’s “exactly what happened” in Lafayette Square near the White House in June when federal officers used force to clear Black Lives Matter protesters ahead of Trump's visit to a nearby church for a photo-op.

“It’s a song I could have written now, so I find it confusing, I would say, that the president has chosen to use my song for his political rallies, when in fact it seems like he is probably the fortunate son,” he concluded.

You know, I've been noticing how some people are all bent out of shape because some football players are wearing the name of a man, who was shot in the back by police seven times and who they have labeled a "rapist," on their helmets. Further, on social media his accuser has been incorrectly identified as a minor (maybe because the impact of the alleged victim being a minor vs an adult projects a greater sense of how horrific the crime is and there is an agenda to paint him in the worse position possible regardless of the actual facts). He has been accused of rape or sexual assault of some sort as well as theft of a debit/charge card and vehicle keys and I assume the vehicle as well (I have not actually seen the charges, so I have paraphrased them the best that I can). At any rate, he stands accused but as yet not convicted...

...the same
as the current president of the United States who has been accused of rape and/or sexual assault by approximately a couple dozen women. Further he has bragged to walking through the dressing room of teenage girls and adult women who where in various stages of undress (he claimed as the owner of the contests he had a right to inspect them) as well as his admissions and bragging of his prowess on the infamous video tape where he said he just grabs women and start kissing them and that because he is a celebrity he could grab them by the pussy....

Of course, the man shot may certainly be guilty of the crime he has been accused of and may be ultimately convicted...also the president of the United States may also be guilty, but as we all know wealth, celebrity and power can and does sometime buy "protection" from being convicted of their crimes.

However, what I find remarkable is that the very same people who are appalled or object or simply bent out of shape by the actions of of some football players and have, without the benefit of a conviction (never mind that in this country one is presumed to be innocent until convicted in a court of competent jurisdiction) have labeled the man a "rapist" ; are also the very same people who wear clothing/hats/caps, put bumper stickers on their vehicles, cheer and attend rallies, put signs in their yards, and ultimately will vote for a man who has been accused of sexual assault and/or rape by no less than 2 dozen women.

Why the difference?

One had an active warrant out for his arrest for his alleged crimes.
At this point, they are both just accused and presumed to be innocent until proven by the evidence in a court of law. I am not "defending" the actions of either and actually suspect that they are both guilty to various degrees of what they have been accused of...but, cannot correctly, at this time, call either of them a rapist nor would I support either of them for an elected office whereby they are place in a position of trust. I attempt to not promote or practice a "double standard" based on a person's position or standard of life.

It is physically, mentally and emotionally impossible for trump to be honest and tell the truth, even when he knows full well that there is a video and/or audio evidence that absolutely proves beyond a reasonable doubt that he is lying...why would any sane person think he should be president???

But you see, that is the problem with too many of the cult...they don't have "half a clue" or half a mind and don't think for themselves. They believe everything that sumbitch says or implies. Just yesterday, I heard a trump nut say that he "was the most honest president we have ever had." That shows the stupidity of the speaker...many of his supporters knows he lies about just about everything on a daily basis, they just simply don't care...but, they know he is dishonest.

This is what the f'ken shit-for-brains asshole of a degenerate POTUS* has been involved in...illegally I might add. It falls squarely under the aiding and abetting and conspiracy laws...if there was any justice for the American people, this deplorable sorry-excuse of a man would be carted off from the White House to the Big House (and that ain't Trump Tower or his resort in Palm Beach).

A vote for trump is a vote for this type of corruption and illegal activity by the POTUS.

Assange lawyer says she saw Trump ally offer to arrange pardon
By Andrew MacAskill
4 MIN READ

LONDON (Reuters) - A lawyer for Julian Assange told a London court on Friday that she was present when an ally of U.S. President Donald Trump offered to arrange a pardon for the WikiLeaks founder in return for information that would “benefit President Trump politically”.

Australian-born Assange, 49, is fighting to avoid being sent to the United States, where he is charged with conspiring to hack government computers and violating an espionage law over the release of confidential cables by WikiLeaks in 2010-2011.

His lawyer, Jennifer Robinson, said in a witness statement to the court that she observed a meeting at the Ecuadorian embassy in London in 2017 between Assange and Republican then-U.S. Representative Dana Rohrabacher.

She said Rohrabacher and an assistant offered to arrange a pardon for Assange in return for information about the hacking of Democratic emails before the 2016 U.S. presidential election.

“They stated that President Trump was aware of and had approved of them coming to meet with Mr Assange to discuss a proposal – and that they would have an audience with the President to discuss the matter on their return to Washington DC,” she said.

“The proposal put forward by Congressman Rohrabacher was that Mr. Assange identify the source for the 2016 election publications in return for some form of pardon, assurance or agreement, which would both benefit President Trump politically and prevent U.S. indictment and extradition,” Robinson said.

Assange’s legal team first said at hearings in February that Rohrabacher had conveyed a pardon offer to Assange. At the time, the White House called the assertion that Trump had tried to reach a deal with Assange “a complete fabrication and a total lie”. (So what else is new, the lying SOB denied every wrongdoing he is involved in.)

This morning, in London, American lawyers sent by the Trump administration's Justice Department to REPRESENT THE UNITED STATES at the extradition trial of Julian Assange, have accepted into evidence that Assange was offered a PRESIDENTIAL PARDON by representatives of the US government -- specifically by Republican congressman Dana Rohrabacher -- IF he, Assange, would help hide the fact that Russia was directly involved in hacking the DNC server and supplying copies of email from prominent democrats (including Hillary Clinton) to Assange's Wikileaks.

Rohrabacher, once known as "Putin's favorite congressman," HIMSELF not only admits he made such an offer, he brags about it.
This claim isn't new and Trump, naturally, denies it.

And yet, today, Trump's own lawyers have accepted it into evidence as fact.

For those who think that Biden’s association with the Ukraine was somehow the same or similar to trump’s criminal activity with respect of threatening to withhold aid to the Ukraine...read and understand that it was not...

”You want a better country, be a better and an informed citizen.”

I realize that the scope of this is beyond what trump is able to process in his feeble, inert and sick mind.

Talk about teaching a person how the “cow ate the cabbage.”

First, this poor soul had the audacity to “call out” Jim Wright over a truth he wrote and the “poor soul” was offended by said truth.
