The Seminole County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a series of residential and vehicle burglaries which occurred during the overnight hours in the Deer Run subdivision, located in unincorporated Casselberry.

The incidents occurred on Weeping Willow Circle, Moccasin Court, and Fox Hollow Circle. In all of these cases, the vehicles were left unlocked. The suspects stole speakers, spare change, garage door openers, and a flashlight from the vehicles. Additionally, investigators believe the suspects were able to use garage door openers left inside the unlocked vehicles to open the garage doors of two of the houses. At one of these homes, the suspects then entered the home via an unlocked interior door and stole a laptop, tablet, computer bag, and car keys. The suspects then stole the resident’s vehicle, which is a blue, 2005, Dodge 4-door sedan bearing Florida tag number 426MDE.

The Sheriff’s Office is actively investigating these cases and encourages residents to:
• Call 911 immediately to report suspicious activity, persons, or vehicles.
• Keep your vehicles locked and never leave valuables inside or on display.
• Never keep your title, spare keys or garage door opener in your vehicle.
• Keep interior doors from the garage to your home locked at all times.

Security cameras from homes in the area captured footage of one of the suspects. If you have information about the identity of the suspect in the video or information about these crimes, please contact Investigator Eddie Walker at 407-665-1768.
