I LOVE The Walking Dead!! I think Carol will be back. You can actually tour the site where they film The Walking Dead. It is 30 mins from Atlanta Ga. They have a Facebook page. Once my husband finishes his cancer treatments we will be going up to do the tour!!
I beleive she will be too , I can't say she was wrong for doing it, hasn't Rick made some decisions like that before?

OMG it was great that we got to kill the Governor Twice
The little Girl and Hershel were tragic.
I am thinking that Rick's Baby will show back up (not as a Baby Zombie, but that would be a cool spin)

You know the reality is most prisons today come in clusters, so maybe they will find another one. Guess we have to wait till Feb to find out.

Pecans. Puzzles. Venison. A stove that worked. And then…Just look at the flowers .
(Spoilers for The Walking Dead, Episode 414, “The Grove”)

Hover ->"Look At The Flowers:" Carol's Wrenching Choice Changes 'The Walking Dead' Forever In A Shocking Episode 414

“She can t be around other people.”

With those six words, The Walking Dead crossed a line. A line from which there s no turning back. And gave us a moment against which every moment in this series will forever be measured. Yeah, it was that big an episode

Love it or hate it, The Walking Dead does not flinch. Not from a beheading. Not from a a 12-year-old boy shooting his mother in the head to keep her from turning into a walker. But there s never been a scene like the one in which Carol tells Lizzie to look at the flowers.

The whole season, if not the whole series, has been aiming toward this chilling moment. Carol adopting the girls. Carol killing David and Karen. Rick s exile of Carol. The Governor s attack on Prison Nirvana. Lizzie saving Tyreese s life. Carol, Lizzie, Mika, and Tyreese re-uniting.

Of all the post-battle re-union moments, I thought then that one with Carol, Tyreese and the girls really had the most juice. And now we understand why.

As Scott Gimple and the writers laid out this moment of reckoning, it was as fated as any Greek tragedy. The only “choice” was leaving the two sisters to play together. Once that that small mistake was made–today instead of tomorrow–everything else was inevitable.

Truly inevitable, like Cain and Abel.

The Grove is a morality play. It comes down hard on one side of the nature versus nurture line. There s something in Lizzie s wiring that led her to this. Carol and even Mika knew there was something wrong, but their fatal error was a failure to fully plumb the depths of a troubled tweenage girls pathology. The uncomprehending smile on Lizzie s face as she waited for Mika to change, that said everything.

Maybe living among the walkers flipped the switch, but the switch, the story insists, was always there. Carol gave Lizzie the tools–the same tools that kept them safe from walkers, and had saved Tyreese s life back at the prison–but the impulse to use them, that was purely Lizzie s.

Once the gun is down and the baby is safe. Carol says what Tyreese can t: “She can t be around other people.”

The calculus of survival is clear and chilling. Judith can t survive unless she has two adults to protect her. And there are no juvenile detention facilities in the post-apocalypse. No pleas of insanity. Lizzie would be tried as an adult. We ve always known that the old rules no longer apply, but that truth has never cut as deep as at this moment.

“Maybe we could talk her back somehow?” Tyreese wonders.

“This is how she is,” says Carol flatly. “It was already there. ”

It s a moment that s almost Biblical in its savage simplicity and it falls to Carol to do what needs to be done. “
She can t be around other people.”

Did Carol have a choice? How will “The Grove” change the way you think about The Walking Dead?

It certainly was a big episode, but for my personal taste, I'd have rather seen a "cure" for the little lass rather than the one chosen. However sometimes just as in reality there are no good choices, only the real choice.
Makes me kind of sad.

It just got real for sure, what I am curious about is how they will explain it to the others when they reunite.

:areyoukiddingme:Mary seems a tad creepy sweet and them steaks on the grill are about the size of a human thigh:spit:
The rowdy crew is tracking Rick to kill him:ohshit:

Wonder if Daryl has figured that out by the candy wrapper ? WTF is this crews story anyhow they sure culled the little rabbit thief pedophile.
Ahh Glenn and Maggie Isn't that special :nowkiss:

No comments on the speculation of cannibalism and terminus is simply a food trap?

Terminus and the Welcome BBQ are way creepy to me.
I don't get the crew Darrell is hanging with either? They are trouble that is for sure.
Also the Savant who is a genius but just a tad freaky about normal life skills?
Hmm......

Watching the season finale now, way to stereotype the balding hillbilly, surprised they didn't get a pig squeal in there, Rick Viscous ripping the throat out, WOW that has to leave an imprint on Carl .
Rick's wisdom is coming through being apprehensive about Terminus, I suppose they will be rescuing the rest from "cannibals".

[h=1]The 6 Most Ridiculous Things From Last Night's 'The Walking Dead'[/h]

1) RIP Worm

[h=2][/h]
<figure class="">
</figure>

<figure class="">
</figure>

“Guys, how do we show that Daryl is depressed while SIMULTANEOUSLY conveying that food is scarce?” “You show him eating a worm by himself, duh.” That’s what I imagine a Walking Dead writers room is like. Forget a priest burning his collar, this was the most heavy-handed symbolism we’ve experienced yet, and it’s basically a watered down version of a song kids sing on the school bus. And before all of the fans (hey, btw, I am also a fan of this show) jump down my throat like so many worms, let me state that I’m aware of the obvious: Yes, that worm is still food and many cultures eat worms and that worm has some totally sweet protein for Daryl’s completely ripped bod. It doesn’t make it any less ridiculous that emo Daryl is snacking solo or that I’ll almost certainly have to see zombie worm cosplay at Comic-Con this year.

[h=2]2) McDognald’s
[/h]
<figure class="">
</figure>

I have no problem with the characters eating dog for dinner. Times are tough!

<figure class="">
<figcaption>The face you make when the dog meat is too good.
</figcaption> </figure>

The painfully obvious issue here is AMC’s decision to not show Glenn (the one Asian character) eating any dog. Not only was there no close up of Glenn eating dog, he’s all the way in the back of the group out of focus when everyone is chowing down. You don’t ever see him actually put anything in his mouth.

<figure class="">
</figure>

Come on, AMC! Let us see Glenn eating the dog. All the cool survivors are doing it! It’s like they don’t realize the choice to not show Glenn eating dog was more racist than just casually showing Glenn eating dog. Because it’s YOUR DOG. Or something. I bet AMC would’ve shown what Glenn was eating if it was a delicious Eat Fresh sandwich from Subway.

[h=2]3) “It’s Raining, So Now We’re Not Thirsty”
[/h]
<figure class="">
</figure>

Anyone who has ever tried to drink rain as it falls from the sky knows it’s a fun and whimsical activity that ultimately results in zero water consumption. Your tongue might get damp, but you’re not getting a full sip. And yet, they’re all stoked. If anything, the general consensus should’ve been, “Shit, now our socks our wet.” I don’t know why they didn’t just roll the dice on that mystery water.

<figure class="">
</figure>

<figure class="">
</figure>

I mean, what’s the worst that could happen? It said “friend” right on there! What more do you need, a notarized letter of friendship authenticity?!? Learn to let people in, you guys! Wait, scratch that. Pretty much everyone they let in results in death and misery.

[h=2]4) The Titular Line
[/h]
<figure class="">
</figure>

<figure class="">
</figure>

<figure class="">
</figure>

He said it! He said the thing that’s the name of the show! Fun! It was fun. I had fun when he said the thing. The way Sherriff Obvious has been making observations lately, you almost would’ve expected him to add, “It’s a double meaning. Do you get it? The show’s title refers to the zombies and us. The show we’re on. The Walking Dead. Do you get it?” But he didn’t do that! So that was nice. I love the character reaction shots right after Rick said the line.

<figure class="">
<figcaption>I read the comics and still didn’t think that was 100% necessary.
</figcaption> </figure>

<figure class="">
<figcaption>I’m going to ask my agent for script approval in season 6.
</figcaption> </figure>

Hey, by the way, did you know I had the title line in Star Wars?

[h=2]5) Zombie Tornado
[/h]
<figure class="">
</figure>

I have never lived in an area with tornados, but I’ve seen Twister at least five times, and I don’t know how much I’m buying this whole thing. Like, really? The tornado just comes and completely kills every single zombie, snicklefritzing one guy up so bad that he now lives in a tree, and the plywood fortress our heroes reside in remains unscathed? And why didn’t they show us any of the cool zombie tornado? Why wasn’t the show just 44 minutes of zombie tornado? That sounds like a pretty good show, let’s watch that show instead.

[h=2]6) LL Bean Catalogue
[/h]
<figure class="">
</figure>

snicklefritz a zombie apocalypse. If you silently roll up on me right now looking like you just stepped out of an LL Bean catalogue, you are immediately at the top of my “do not trust” list. If this guy was an ice cream flavor, he’d be pralines and dick. They should tell this dude to spin his Fall Collection Delivery One looking ass right around and return from whence he came. Looking forward to next week when the group links up with this seemingly nice man who will almost certainly betray them and get someone killed.

Wow three scumbags one undead two that need to be and some redemption for Eugene. The A-hole son of the senator Aiden got his but his buddy Nicholas , yeah I expect he won't be getting any support from the "family".

Gabriel the preacher, who wouldn't want to strangle him themselves after that last bit of betrayal. I really didn't expect Noah to be lost so soon. Now Carol has told Rick he is going to have to kill Pete (the doctor) Cause he is Abusive to his kid and wife, I suspect it will be Carol that does it and Rick is gonna move in on a new wife. or will they just take the place as life inside starts to resemble life outside the walls.

In case you haven't before check out the Webisodes on AMC's site. I was surprised last week to find out some people didn't know about them or the after show Talking Dead. Oh an I see you can watch it on AMC too http://www.amctv.com/shows/the-walking-dead/episodes/season-5/spend
