Oak Hill, FL – The fatal stabbing of 50-year-old fishing captain Neal Goodrich is under investigation by the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office. Sheriff’s Office Public Information Officer Andrew Gant said the incident took place this morning at around 7:30 a.m.
The call from Goodrich came in from Goodrich Seafood in Oak Hill. Detectives say he was stabbed during a domestic altercation nearby then went to the restaurant to make the call. He was transported to the hospital and was reported to have died shortly afterward.
Detectives are interviewing the adult female suspect who allegedly stabbed Goodrich. At this time, no other details have been released. Check back with News Daytona Beach for updates.
